Perfect, whether strolling down the snow-covered city streets or on a long trek through mountain snow. Behind its simple, technical appearance, the TP04 is a true winter allrounder.

Up until now, the membrane has been used as an intermediate layer beneath the shoe uppers; on the TP04 it forms a part of the actual uppers. For this purpose, Dachstein uses light yet robust Pertex material that is capable of resisting a water column of up to 20,000 mm and has been integrated into a shoe for the very first time. The watertight and breathable Pertex Shield gaiter surrounds the foot as would a protective sock. Underneath there’s a fixed, elastic lacing system. By constructing the boot with an inner shoe, a membrane and a watertight zip, Dachstein has achieved a very tidy hi-tech look. The sensitive lightweight Vibram® EVO 2.0 sole secures a good foothold, even on steep mountainous climbs. 9 mm of stretch ensure walking is a very comfortable experience. A lightweight synthetic TPU film provides additional wear protection for the uppers.

Vibram® EVO_2.0 - the multi-functional sole has been developed in exclusive cooperation with Vibram® and provides excellent flexibility and sensitivity with a 9mm forefoot and heel pitch. Built-in ‘Flex Lines’ allow the foot to roll over naturally and the Climbing Zone at the sole tip facilitates a precise ascent and a perfect foothold on the rock face.

Dachstein Flex - the new Dachstein Flex outsole unit combines a molded EVA midsole with enhanced function to ease the rolling motion while walking. The ball of the foot point is moved backwards to allow a smoother transition. Enhanced flex-grooves in the rubber outsole allow for even greater mobility
