Enjoy a perfect fit without pressure points! A very complex and time-consuming knitting process ensures the entire uppers of the Dachstein Super Nova DDS, including the tongue, are produced in one single seamless piece.

This technique and the variety of knitted zones within the single item allow the shoe to fit itself perfectly to the shape of the foot – like a sock. The sides and heel sections are particularly tightly knitted to ensure the shoe provides sufficient support on easy hikes along safe routes. The knit is looser at the front of the foot and the tongue to make it extremely flexible and airy, and guarantee complete freedom of movement. Even the laces have been knitted firmly into the uppers to facilitate fit-perfect lacing. Outdoor adventurers preferring the low-cut up in the mountains on rainy summer days will love the watertight yet breathable Super Nova DDS with DryDS® membrane.

The light and sensitive MultiTrek sole produces an absolutely unique running sensation and provides direct feedback from the surface underfoot. There’s also plenty of protection on stony terrain as a thin TPU film around the shoe protects the knitwear from wear and abrasive damage.
